I wish to mention that this is the era where  Internet is creating the newest revolution in communication, the conventional boundaries of time and space no longer exists in the cyberspace where information crosses these dimensions freely. The National Construction Association of Sri Lanka (NCASL) is the apex body of the construction contractors of Sri Lanka which  is dedicated to foster and promote the interest and advancement of the construction contractors and that of the construction industry, while representing and leading the construction contractors in Sri Lanka. The construction contractor means those who engage in constructing any building, road, bridge, water supply, drainage or sewerage system, harbour, airport or any infrastructure project in telecommunication or electricity. The NCASL  provides the necessary technical support to its contractors in numerous ways and it  is the only organization dedicated exclusively to the interests of professional construction. 

Presently NCASL has more than 3000 members including individual probationers, corporate members, and construction owners in both public and private sectors along with academic and associate members clustered in all nine provinces in Sri Lanka..
